‘You Can’t Live Here Anymore’: Wife Horrified After Husband Reveals His Bathing Habits

Living with a partner can be sometimes nerve-wracking as you get to know some surprising things about each other that leave you questioning your decision. This was the exact case for this woman, who was beyond shocked to discover her husband’s shower routine. She felt that it was time for her husband to move out after learning more about his questionable hygiene habits. In a now-viral video originally shared on TikTok, the woman explained that after years together, she just learnt about her husband’s shockingly simplistic shower routine.
Much to her surprise, her husband skipped several essential steps, leaving her feeling disturbed by his hygiene. The video unfolds to show the woman admitting that she was “so upset” after finding out how her husband “washes his body in the shower.” She then asked her husband to demonstrate his shower routine. The man begins to show her how he normally scrubs his head and his beard in the shower. “With that much effort? Give me the effort,” she hilariously said.
The woman was then heard asking her husband, “Then where does the soap go next?” After washing his beard, the husband explained that he normally gets some soap out and creates a “triangle” to clean his lower body. As he demonstrated the “triangle” motion, the woman said, “I’m scared for my life. Stop!”
Trust us, it gets even worse. The man then detailed how he goes about washing his backside. “Then you get out your Mastercard and your Amex right back here, and then you’re done,” he described.
His wife, horrified with his bathing method, questioned, “That’s how you wash your body? You’re telling me you don’t even wash your pits?” In response, he said that he washes his armpits “sometimes.”
“You don’t even round the corners of your cheeks, and you sit on public toilets?” she shockingly said.
In addition to this, the woman asked her husband if he ever washes his legs or feet. “Yeah, if I get like a tattoo or something,” he laughingly answered, and his wife told him, “You can’t live here anymore.” Still unknowing about what happened, her husband asked, “Why?”
As soon as the video gained traction, several social media users bombarded the comment section of the video. A majority of users were irked after watching the clip, while others suggested that hygiene routines should be disclosed on a first date or at least shower together a few times to know what they do in there.
“EVERY INCH NEEDS TO BE WASHED. EVERY INCH,” read a comment.
Another said, “I know the bar is low, but at least he washes between his cheeks? Apparently some men don’t?”
“The TRIANGLE GOT ME because [sic] he missed his entire legs,” wrote a user.
An account remarked, “I saw a video recently that said hygiene is cultural…and based on this comment section, I now 100 per cent agree.”
“And some women wonder why they get constant yeast infections; it’s from the men they allow inside them not being clean,” a person said.
An individual wrote, “Oh no, no. He needs a remedial bathing class or something.”
“Alright…it’s mandatory for couples to at least take 1-2 showers together before entering a relationship because [sic] no,” someone suggested.
