Karan Johar’s dramatic weight loss has been a hot topic on the internet.

Karan Johar recently talked about the buzz on social media regarding his impressive weight loss. He explained that his transformation is all about being healthy. His journey has caught a lot of attention online, with many expressing concern for his health. At the IIFA Digital Awards on Saturday night, Karan was asked about the secret to his weight loss. He said, “It’s being healthy. Eating well, exercising, and doing your best to look good”.

When a reporter asked about his routine, Karan jokingly replied, “If I do that, I’ll give my secret away.”

Last year, Karan Johar responded to a user on X (formerly Twitter) who claimed he was using Ozempic, a medication known for rapid weight loss. The user referenced comments made by Maheep Kapoor on Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, where she criticized those using the drug for contributing to shortages for diabetic patients who genuinely need it. Karan reacted by sharing a screenshot of the post on his Instagram stories, denying the accusation and stating that his weight loss was simply due to healthy eating. He also tagged Maheep, asking if she was referring to him when she mentioned the drug on the show.

The post read, “#Maheep rightly called out people for using #ozempic for fast weightloss and driving it out of stock for people with diabetes. Hope she calls out #karanjohar too, the producer of #FabulousLives #bollywoodwives (sic).”

Karan had written, “Being healthy and eating well and reinventing the wheel of your own nutrition! Aur Ozempic ko Mile credit ??? And @maheepkapoor did you mean me???” Maheep reshared the post with a bunch of laughing emojis and Karan shot back, “You’re laughing? I’m offended.”

Karan Johar’s new film, Nadaaniyan, premiered on Netflix on March 7. It stars Ibrahim Ali Khan, Saif Ali Khan’s son, as Arjun Mehta, with Khushi Kapoor as Pia Jai Singh. Directed by Shauna Gautam and produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, the movie also features Mahima Chaudhary, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hansraj. This romantic comedy marks Ibrahim’s acting debut.
