Spotted at Paris Fashion Week, Leighton Meester and Kelly Rutherford’s reunion at the Elie Saab Womenswear Fall/Winter 2025-2026 fashion show on Saturday, March 8 has fans buzzing with excitement. The duo caught up together in the front row of the Paris Fashion Week show at Palais De Tokyo and it seems they have a lot to talk about. Meester and Rutherford, who played Blair Waldorf and Lily van der Woodsen in the show, shared a hug and interacted with each other, as per the videos that emerged online. How do we know? Marking their sweet reunion almost 13 years after the teen drama ended, both the stars revisited their journey with a photo wherein the duo posed alongside designer Elie Saab and actress Sofia Carson for a group photo.
For the fashion show solo, Leighton Meester went for a stunning floral gown in the shades of black and green which he paired with a simple silver chain and hoops. For a touch of warmth, she kept her red hair open and completed the look with complementary glam.
On the other hand, Rutherford, in a rare appearance, attended the event with her 18-year-old son Hermés Giersch, marking one of the first times they have been spotted together at an event after her legal battle with her ex-husband, German businessman Daniel Giersch. The duo ended the relationship after 10 years ago.
For the rare appearance, the star went for a rose gold, midi-length gown adorned with shimmering, embroidered details. The outfit featured sheer, wide-cut sleeves which she teamed up with brown sunglasses, white pumps and an understated matte pink lip to prove her knack for fashion. To complete the look, she tied her blonde hair neatly behind her ears.
Apart from the duo, the Gossip Girl also stars Ed Westwick, Chace Crawford and Penn Badgley. Ever since the series ended in 2012, the actors had several reunions. Earlier, they were also seen together to mourn costar Michelle Trachtenberg’s sudden death in February at age 39.
