Local resident Umer told Local18 that many stories surround the haunted reputation of Khairatabad Science College. One story claims that part of the building collapsed while the college was still operational, leading to its closure. Since then, no one has stepped inside.

Unauthorised Tests on Dead Bodies
Another chilling story linked to this college alleges that, while it was functioning, experiments were conducted on dead bodies in the science lab without official permission, which was illegal.
When the government found out, the lab was shut down, and the college was sealed. It is believed that the bodies were not disposed of properly, leading to restless spirits still haunting the premises.
The Guard’s Mysterious Death
After the college was shut, a guard was assigned for security, but soon after, his lifeless body was found inside the college. Locals say that one night, he heard strange noises and went inside to investigate but never returned. His body was discovered the next morning.
After this incident, people completely stopped coming here, and Khairatabad Science College gained its reputation as one of Hyderabad’s most haunted places.
