BTS J-Hope is back in the spotlight, and he is making sure fans feel every bit of his return. After taking some time to unwind following his discharge from the military, the rapper-singer wasted no time diving headfirst into exciting new projects. He has not only released a new song but also embarked on his first-ever solo world tour. Adding to the excitement, he even starred in MBC’s popular reality show, I Live Alone.

In the show, the BTS star treated his fans by giving an exclusive look at his post-military life in LA, where he had worked on his new album. The show has sparked a new wave of excitement among his fans as the next episode promises a special appearance from none other than J-Hope’s elder sister. A recently released teaser for the upcoming episode gave a glimpse of the heartwarming moments between the siblings duo.

The clip began with J-Hope buying ingredients from a local market, followed by a cooking session where he prepared kimchi stew for dinner. Along with having dinner, the musical powerhouse also tried to find inspiration for his new music. The next morning, the BTS member was seen starting his day with an apple and a military-style cereal recipe. In the clip, he said, “In the military, we mix everything together.”

Further, the 31-year-old rapper-singer met with his sister, Jung Jiwoo, who is four years older than him. During his conversation with his beloved sister, J-Hope, aka Jung Hoseok, he shared his stories, including some from his music-making process as well as his latest drive-thru experience. Meanwhile, his sister also questioned him about the thing he wanted to do the most after his discharge from the military, which his fans have been eagerly waiting to know. The answer to this question will only be available once the new episode airs on March 7 (KST).

Speaking of J-Hope’s work front, the K-pop idol is set to release a new digital single titled Sweet Dreams on March 7, 2025, at 2 PM KST (0 AM ET, 10:30 AM IST). This soulful R&B track is a collaboration with Grammy-winning American singer-songwriter Miguel. The new single is J-Hope’s first solo release since his Hope on the Street, Vol.1 EP, which he released while he was still in the military.

Meanwhile, the 31-year-old idol kicked off his solo tour, Hope on the Stage World Tour, on February 28 with three consecutive shows in Seoul. Spanning 15 cities and 31 performances, the tour will wrap up on June 1, 2025, in Osaka, Japan.
